Jaguar E-Type Series 1 OTS
The Jaguar E-Type is often described as one of the most beautiful cars ever created.
Looking at a Series 1, it is easy to understand why. The proportions are remarkably simple. A long bonnet, a compact cabin, a gently tapering tail. Nothing appears exaggerated. Nothing feels decorative. Every line serves a purpose, yet together they create something far greater than the sum of its parts. This example belongs to a particularly desirable chapter of E-Type production. As an early 4.2-litre Series 1, it combines the purity of the original design with the refinements Jaguar introduced as the model evolved. The iconic glass-covered headlights remain, as do the delicate chrome details and lightweight appearance that defined the earliest cars.

Its history is equally significant. Delivered new to racing driver and Jaguar importer Peter Lindner, it is believed to be the first Jaguar E-Type 4.2 officially supplied in Germany. A distinction that connects this car directly to the early success of the marque on the German market.

More than sixty years later, the E-Type still possesses a rare quality. It does not look like a product of its era. It simply looks right. Many important automobiles define a period. The E-Type transcends one.
